1312 Western Lake Dr

We had a wonderful family vacation in this peaceful neighborhood and beautiful home. The location was perfect, close enough for walking and/or short golf cart ride. The hostess responds immediately to all questions before and during the stay.

The house provided sufficient space for five grandchildren and five adults. Location was ideal and allowed our family to have a great week together.

Pros - This home is in a great location in Watercolor, close to pools, Publix and other amenities. The bathrooms are beautiful with large showers and lots of counter space for sharing. The kitchen is also spacious with high end appliances. The property management company is top notch. We had great communication both before and during our trip. We had a few minor issues that were resolved promptly and efficiently.
Con’s - If you are traveling with a large group, there are some challenges. For one, the living room space and furniture is sparse. We traveled with a group of 12, 9 of them were boys/men aged 16-55. The sofa seats 2- 3 at most, which made it an uncomfortable space to hang out together in the evenings. The kitchen is also very under equipped for a home that sleeps 12. Trying to cook multiple meals for 12 proved difficult using the equipment provided and we eventually gave up and resorted to ordering more take out. This may or may not be important, depending on the size of your group.
Summary - this is a lovely, beautiful home with great access to Watercolor’s top notch amenities. It’s managed by a very professional group that operates with great clarity and communication. Consider the size of your group and what you may like to do in the home - hanging out together, cooking meals, etc. to determine if it is the best fit. We had a great time at Watercolor and will look forward to a return visit soon!

This home was perfect for 2 families with 6 children—great location and close to Camp Watercolor! Renting a golf cart is a must, which we did. A digital keypad would have been much easier for guests. Also recommend perhaps stocking the kitchen with more essentials. Overall, it was an excellent stay!

We stayed in this beautiful home March 2024. It was a great location as it was very close to camp watercolor for our grandchildren. Large bedrooms and a spacious kitchen. Beautiful screened in porches. Living space with television was a little small to accommodate our group for comfortable sitting. We did rent a golf cart as well which was a must for traveling to the beach.

This home could use a little better organization of the kitchen but most of all the house needs to have a golf cart as part of the rental. I would rent this house again but making sure I had a golf cart would be a must.

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was our first time to stay in Camp District and it was the perfect location to be close to Camp but also near the Beach Club, Seaside and the Town Center. The house was perfect for us, we had so much room for the 4 adults and 3 kids. My only recommendation would be to put a digital lock on one of the doors and the physical key was kind of a headache. Very small problem, just a suggestion. The house is wonderful!

Great stay for Songwriters at this home. Lots of advance communication made it a seamless experience.

We had two families stay here. One from TN and the other flew in from AZ. It was spacious enough for all. The home is decorated beautifully. Beds were comfy.

We had a group of 10 people (7 adults and 3 kids). There was adequate room for all. A golf cart was rented along with more bikes so we could all get around. The house was in good condition, the agent was informative, and the stay was good. There were some minor things that were not as nice as our place last year. There were literally no spices of any kind in the kitchen, nothing was furnished. We had to purchase everything, including toilet paper, paper towels, bath soap, etc. The Beach Habitats people were nice to deal with.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay @ 1312 Western Lake Drive in Watercolors. The selling point for us was all the bedrooms had king beds. Everything in the house was clean and well stocked. The house is very close to several pools and within walking distance to Publix. Beach Habitats 30A was very responsive through the entire process of renting and checking out. They communicated very well as far as the "why's" of several of the rules of the property and Watercolors which was appreciated. Referrals to baby equipment rental and golf carts was very helpful and utilized. The house was very quiet considering we had 8 adults and 4 children under 4. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The house was clean and laid out nicely to give the younger kids and teens the space that they needed. The porches are wonderful front and back and upstairs and downstairs. House was clean and had everything that we needed except a crockpot pot which I purchased and left for future guest. We would definitely book this house again. My only complaint is the 9 am checkout. 10am would have allowed us less rushing the day that we left. We had to make one maintenance call for broken bikes, they responded right away and the bikes were repaired quickly.

The house was lovely for our girl's weekend in 30A. All of the king bedrooms had their own ensuite bathroom, which we we really enjoyed, and there were several indoor and outdoor areas to hang out. We took full advantage of the Watercolor amenities and loved being able to bike aware from the central location of this home. Kitchen was not equipped with any cooking ingredient staples, so be prepared to buy/bring them. Same goes for beach towels, you'll need to bring your own.

Great place to stay for 4 adult couples! Picked it because of the 4 king bedrooms with ensuite baths. House is well equipped, plenty of space and great location. Hope to return one day to this same property!

The house was in a great location. The owner did a great job in design and did not cut any corners when it came to construction materials. We loved it!

Great place to stay. First timers in watercolor and we enjoyed. Beach Habitats was very easy to rent from and responsive. House was beautiful, lots of space and great location. Would def recommend!

This was a beautiful and perfectly located home for large family with children. Beach Habitats 30A was the easietst and most helpful company we have ever worked with in our 22 years of going to 30A

The house was beautiful, plenty of space, porches off of every bedroom. Thank God we had plenty of space. We had plenty of space having to quarantine once again because of the tropical storms. There were 9 of us...

Each room had a large, full bathroom also with plenty of storage space. The kitchen was spacious and stocked with every appliance and cooking, baking and serving ware that we needed. The house was beautiful, loved all of the king size beds and spacious bathrooms, and a wonderful kitchen. It was the perfect size for our two families plus a couple of extra friends. My only negative comment would be about the cleaning service. Found some trash on the floors in the closet, and some dishes with food on them.

The home is lovely, rooms are plenty big, kitchen is nice and plenty of space. We would absolutely stay here again but we would spend the extra money to rent our own bikes. The listing says comes with 5 bikes but there were 6 there. However, all 6 bikes had issues multiple times when we were there. Chains would come off 3-4 times in 1 trip to dinner or grocery store. 2 bikes even the whole sproket and pedal came off. This stranded us a long way from the house then having to walk over 1.5 miles home a couple of times. They sent out maintenance 3 times to fix them and they would still break or have issues after that. The maintenance guy even said he had to come out several times the previous week for chains falling off but all he did was teach the people how to put chains back on, I had to explain to him how to tighten the chains!!! But the house we thoroughly enjoyed. Wasn't a big deal for us b/c we don't watch much tv while on vacation, but the remote system for the tv downstairs didn't work either, maintenance came the first day to fix it and he couldn't fix it and he told me you just have to turn it on by hand then use this other remote for volume and then he left. So we just never used the tv the whole time there.
